La prima prova di Avalanche Cup si e' disputata a Lione sul circuito "La Sarra". La pista si trova all'interno della citta' su una collina a ridosso del centro storico.

La première étape de l'Avalanche Cup a été déroulée à Lyon sur le circuit de La Sarra. La piste est vraiment au milieu de Lyon sur une colline à coteé du centre ville.
The first round of the Avalanche cup , took place in Lyon on the La Sarra circuit. The track is located in the middle of the city, on an hill just outside the city center.
Un po' di anni fa qui c'era una pista da sci ed oggi hanno trasformato il tutto in un tracciato permanente di downhill con tanto di salti e sponde artificiali, ... uno spasso ... Al via si sono presentati piu' di 300 concorrenti! naturalmente tutti agguerritissimi...

Il y a quelques années, ici il y avait une piste de ski , et aujourd'hui, tout a été transformé en une  piste permanente de descente vtt avec Jumps et virages relevés ...de la bombe de balle... Au depart ils se sont présentés plus de 300 concurrents! naturellement tous des accro du vtt...

A couple of years ago, on the hill there was a dryslope and today the place is transformed in a permanent downhill track with double jumps and banked turns ...amazing... On the starting list there were more than 300 racers, obviously all going crazy...

Eccomi in azione nel corso della prima manche dove ho fatto registrare il miglior tempo!!

Per motivi tecnici ho dovuto utilizzare la mia "YAZOO" rigida e nella prima manche questa scelta e' stata vincente.

Me voilà en action pendant la première manche, dont j'ai fait enregistrer le meilleur temps!!

  A cause de problèmes techniques, j'ai dù utiliser mon velo rigide "Yazoo" et pour la première manche ça a été le choix gagnant.

Here I am during the first run , when I took the first place!

Because of technical problems I had to use my "Yazoo" Hard tail bike, and for the first run this has been the right choice.

Le condizioni della pista, infatti, erano particolarmente difficili per il pesantissimo fango dovuto alla pioggia caduta durante la notte, ma con la "YAZOO", piu' leggera di una full, sono riuscito a cavarmela piuttosto bene!

Nel corso della seconda e terza manche le condizioni della pista sono andate via via migliorando, il fondo si e' asciugato, rendendo le staccate particolarmente bucate ... e a questo punto con la MTB rigida e' stata veramente dura! sono comunque soddisfatto del mio decimo posto!

Les conditions de la piste, en fait, étaient particulièrement difficiles à cause de l'ignoble boue due à la pluie tombée pendant toute la nuit, mais avec mon "YAZOO", plus léger q'un tout souspendu, j'ai reussi à avoir un super temps! Pendant la deuxième et troisième manche , les conditions ont continué à s'améliorer, avec un parcours plus sec , mais de plus en plus bosselé... et ça a été vraiment dur avec le vélo rigide! Je peut ètre quand mème satisfait de ma dixième place !

The conditions of the track were really hard-core thanks to the rain that felt all night long, but with the Hard Tail ,way lighter than the full supended one, I managed to take the lead! The conditions got better during the day, the track got dryierbut with lots of moguls... and with the rigid bike, it was really hard!  Anyway I finished 10th and I am happy of that result !
